Hyland Classic Sprints Results

Congratulations to Josh as you took the classic sprint today at Hyland Park as we had 2 boys in the finals, with Ryan going down after the hairpin turn and finishing in 8th!  Congrats to Lilah as well as she had a solid day to take 2nd overall.  

After the Prelims, team scores gave the Boys 2nd place out of 6 teams and the girls were 4th out of 6, as we were able to get 3 boys into the semi finals as well as Lilah.  Aaron had made the semi's but pulled out and due to that Albi was able to move up to make the semi's as well.

Overall it was a solid day.  It was the first time that most of our skiers had done a sprint race before and with the warmer temps it made the snow fast, and they held their own, and in many ways it was possibly the best thing for us to have as a race after the past week and trying to bring everyone back up to health. It also is going to help us as coaches to see who does well in sprints so we can start making decisions on who will be in the sprint relays at the Conference and Section Meets. 

Our Individual results are posted on the right side of the blog.  There will be overall results as well, but we may not see those until the morning.
