Summer Cross Country Running Training

If there is anyone that is planning on running Cross Country this fall or is interested in it, we will be starting summer training on Monday, June 11th, meeting in front of the high school at 9:30am. If you have any questions, please let me know,

Thanks,

Denny

Roller Ski's

We will be handing out Roller Ski's for the summer on Tuesday, June 5th after school.  The cost is $25 for the summer, which helps pay for the new wheels and other repairs we need to make to roller ski's over the years.
If you are wanting a pair and are unable to make it that day, please let me know what type of roller ski you'd like and I can set them aside for you.  If you are in middle school, also please let me know what type you'd like and I can either send them with a high school student or have you meet me out at the track where I will have them for you.
We can also have poles for the summer, with road tips on, so please let me know if you will need a pair(s) so I can have them all prepped and ready to go that day as well.
If there are any questions, please let me know,
Thanks
Denny

Another Summer Training Option

Good Morning,
Was sent the following last night, and if anyone is still looking for an option for summer training, here is another to consider: Mora Nordic Training
If you have any questions, please let me know,
Thanks
Denny

Uniforms Needed

The following skiers still have their uniforms, or a part of them, and we would like to get them returned this week so we can close the books on the season:
Amelia B
Isabel H
Isaac J (bottoms only)
Paul B
Sami D
Aaron C
Claire H
Sam C

Any questions, let me know,
Thanks
Denny

Equipment Sales

For anyone that is looking to buy new equipment for next year, now is the time to start looking at the ski shops for their end of season deals. There are a few that have progressive sales, with more off the longer you wait, but the stock that they would have would be less, so a gamble to wait for the best deals.  The local shops you should be looking at in the area are:
Gear West, Pioneer Midwest, Finn Sisu, Boulder Nordic, Joe's, and Hoigard's. There are others, these are just the closest.
Any questions, let me know,
Thanks,
Denny

Uniforms and Skis Part 2

For anyone that was unable to make it after school today to turn in their uniform and/or skis, please stop by the ski room after school tomorrow. I want to make sure all of the skis get taken care of and it saves me time if everyone can help with their skis. Also, we want to make sure all uniforms are turned in before we get to far away from the end of the season.
Any questions, let me know,
Thanks,
Denny

Uniforms and Equipment Turn In

Hard to say this with all the snow we are supposed to get tomorrow, but please remember the uniforms and all equipment are to be turned in after school on Tuesday.  If you are able to, please clean and put a warm weather wax on the schools skis. If you are not able to, we, as a team, will be taking care of that on Tuesday as well. It is important for the life of the skis to make sure they are prepped and waxed for the summer so they don't dry out and they last longer. With that, we will be helping the kids do this from after school until all skis are done.
Any questions, let me know,
Thanks,
Denny
